Jacqui Collins

Hi my name is Jacqui Collins and I am a speech pathologist who has been working with children for over 15 years.

I am dedicated to helping children, and have extensive professional experience working with children diagnosed with a wide variety of communication and related disorders.

Having spent 2 years working in community health centres in both Australia and England and 3 years working at the Spastic Centre of NSW my passion for helping children with speech and communication disorders was ignited.

In 2004 I achieved a life-long dream and set up Canton Beach Speech Pathology in Toukley, on the NSW Central Coast, where I am still helping children learn how to communicate effectively today. I have enjoyed working with children and families on the northern end of the Central Coast.

My areas of expertise include evaluating and treating children with articulation disorders, expressive/receptive language disorders, non-verbal language disorders, apraxia of speech, phonological disorders, fluency disorders or “stuttering,” and pragmatic/social skill delays.

My desire is to help preschool children become ready for school, in all areas, but particularly with communication and “reading readiness.”
